About

I’m currently focused on figuring out what matters and what to do about it. Right now, a lot of that thought goes into how the world responds to  civilizational and existential risks plus understanding progress and growth. Almost all of this is speculative and changes as I learn.

By day, I run a next-generation consulting firm built around AI. There’s no future where people don’t come first, and Forge helps enterprises bring that future into being.

Before that, I was Director of Sales at a seed-Series B startup called TaskHuman. I focused on helping customers grow their own capabilities while taking care of themselves and each other through group and real-time 1:1 coaching.

For about a decade, I worked at BTS, a weird Swedish consulting firm. I worked primarily on how biotechs can commercialize molecules better and collaborate across the healthcare ecosystem to improve patient outcomes and drive down cost. I also worked on how B2B sales and marketing orgs can help their customers allocate resources most effectively. If you’ve ever read a sales or marketing focused book, you know that there’s a lot of room for improvement. Often, we used buzzwords to make companies buzzword-ier.

Prior to that I co-founded a tech company that raised $500k to make the labor market for films more efficient. It didn’t work, but we learned a lot.

I started this blog to chart a public education in the above.
